I am a Postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratoire de Physique de Clermont, Universite Clermont-Auvergne, France, working to develop machine learning techniques to classify Supernovae for the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST). Prior to starting here, I was a PhD student at the Institute for Astro-and Particle Physics, University of Innsbruck, Austria, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Francine Marleau. My research interests include extragalactic astrophysics in general and galaxies and machine learning techniques in particular. I am a member of the LSST-DESC and MATLAS collaborations.
When I’m not racking my brains about what’s up THERE, I read, do yoga and occasionally blog about books here, https://sreevarshasreejith.blogspot.com/.
